Our April visit to Mississippi and Florida was really blessed as we were able to see a lot of Brad's immediate and extended family members in one trip. Here we are on the Jacksonville, FL beach. I love this picture of him. Very handsome.
Brad has really been a stellar husband and friend during this whole pregnancy and job transition, always being positive, encouraging, hardworking and loving. I'm extremely proud of and thankful for him.

Here is the latest picture of our daughter at 31 weeks, this last Thursday. You may need to study the picture a bit to make out her face as I had to. It is a close up of her arm and hand (left part of picture) across one side of her face. The top part of the picture is her forehead, then a closed eye just above the middle of the picture, her nose against her arm, and you can barely see part of her mouth. She looks like she is sleeping or perhaps praying, like she is leaning against her arm and hand, of which the hand/fist is covering her other eye. I think it's a really cute picture. And amazing and surreal that she is ours. They estimate her weight to be 4.5 lbs already and she is in the 66th percentile of size/weight at this stage. So in other words, she is going to be a nice size, gaining 1/2 lb a week now until birth. They are not changing the due date of August 16th however, even though she is measuring 12 days early. Everything looks normal and good, including kidney function (bladder was full), swallowing ability (she was swallowing fluid and we could see her stomach fill up- very interesting.) heart, brain, etc. Praise the Lord!
After many long hours of name discussions and disagreements, we have finally decided on one we both like and that feels "right"- Annie G. Renfroe. Since Brad's middle name Quinn comes from the Basketball player Quinn Buckner, I, Regina, thought it would only be fitting to have a famous volleyball player (my personal sport) be associated with Annie. Gabrielle Reece was a professional beach volleyball player who really made a name for women in volleyball in the mid 90's. As far as I know, she is a good role model for young girls, so if any of you know differently, don't tell me and crush my view of her! Well, no, do tell me so our kid won't have a negative middle name association. Sigh. Anyway, we are still in discussion about whether it should be Gabrielle or Gabriella (Brad prefers Gabriella) so that is still up in the air. Also, Annie means "gracious" and Gabriell(a) is the feminine form of Gabriel, meaning "God is my strength" so we appreciate the meanings. We also really enjoyed the names many of you offered and we addressed each one of them as possibilities, so thank you.
Also, congratulations to two of my college roommates Holley Raley and Angie Haustein on the births of their boys in the past 2 weeks!

Time seems to be passing quickly and slowly at the same time. Slowly because Brad has been in Indianapolis at his new job since the 1st of June and I miss him terribly, but also the pregnancy seems to be flying with Brad away and neither one of us knowing if this baby will be an Indiana Hoosier baby or a Colorado Nuggets baby. Brad was able to fly "home" to Denver this last Thursday because we had 1 last ultrasound which I'll go into later in another post. It was really great to have him home for the weekend. I think our baby was glad he was home too because she seemed to move more than ever when he was around or talked. Brad brought her a present which was a cute tiny pink T-shirt that says "Hoosier Daddy?" on it. I think we know which way he is leaning of where she should be born!

Because we haven't been able to post pictures in a while, here is the 20 week ultrasound from March 30th where we found out she was probably a girl. Last Thursday we found out for sure she is a she. In this picture she looks like she is on her back and you can see her profile with her mouth open.
